The Member Experience Coordinator serves as AUGS’ front line customer engagement representative. Reporting directly to the Manager, Membership and Marketing, this position provides an opportunity to work with various departments within AUGS.

Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement (75%)
Provide front-line email and phone support to AUGS members, prospects, registrants, and other customers.
Support the annual call for volunteers and board nominating/election process including maintenance of committee and board rosters in the membership database.
Coordinate the Special Interest Group program, including monitoring and supporting group engagement via AUGS’ online community.
Support AUGS team members throughout the year on call for volunteers’ activities (i.e., writing groups, call for abstract reviewers, etc.).
Support volunteer recognition including committee service awards and certificates.
Registration (15%)
Oversee the registration for PFD Week and support other events as needed.
Process registrations (invoices, purchases, transfers, refunds, etc.) for various AUGS conferences and events and updating in registration database.
Serve as main point of contact for registrant and customer questions.
Provide weekly registration reports for AUGS meetings and events.
Serve as front-line customer service representative at AUGS registration booth at annual meeting and other meetings as assigned.
Operations and Administrative (10%)
Work with AUGS staff on any assigned projects and perform any other administrative duties as assigned (i.e., administering surveys, invoicing, inventory support, etc.).
Issue invoices, receipts, and refunds as needed
Desired Skills, Education, and Experience
Ability to roll up your sleeves, be flexible and have an upbeat and positive attitude
Bachelor’s degree or four-years related experience
Minimum 1-2 years association experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort and experience working within membership and registration systems
Strong background with Microsoft office tools
Demonstrated customer service experience
Proficient in time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work remotely
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Ability to travel 2-3 times throughout the year
