About the Department
The Member and Volunteer Services department is responsible for delivering retention activities as well as member programs and services including the Find a CRS directory and CRS Designation program. The department also manages the State Networks and Regional Vice President programs by providing training and support to volunteers.
Job Summary
RRC is seeking an experienced Member Services Manager. The member services manager will need to have a firm understanding of the organization’s benefits, products and programs and how they can best meet the needs of members at stages in their career. This position will work closely with multiple departments to facilitate enhancements to program offerings. This positive reports directly to Chief Member & Volunteer Services Officer.
Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of the membership process including new member onboarding, timely dues invoicing and processing of autorenewals, and coordinating retention efforts of other departments and vendors.
Develops and manages new member onboarding program designed to build relationships with new members and aid in improving retention goals.
Manages the development and production of the Print Directory project which includes coordinating efforts of departments and vendors to meet deadlines and revenue goals.
Oversees the Find-A-CRS online directory which includes potential enhancements with meeting revenue goals.
Develops, prepares and analyzes reports that provide statistical information on membership and progress in meeting goals including recruitment, retention and engagement.
Ensures data hygiene is achieved by working in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Ensures database cleanliness by removing errors and checking records for accuracy.
Leads efforts to encourage long-term candidate members to earn the CRS Designation.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain marketing and communications materials which promote RRC’s value to existing and prospective members and ensure membership-related website content is up to date.
Contributes to the development of department budget.
Handles escalated calls, emails and social media inquiries for the organization as needed.
Represents RRC at business meetings and industry events as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Work Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in membership management

Strong technical skills in AMS systems and ability to interpret data to develop operational plans.
Strong planning and organizations skills required, demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and coordinate activities.
High level of initiative, creativity and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
