At Metacred, our mission is to develop, manage, and grow the best credentialing programs in the world. As the only association management company (AMC) that specializes exclusively in credentialing programs, we develop and provide comprehensive management of certification, accreditation, certificate, and licensure programs for association, for-profit, and government clients.
We are hiring a Director of Credentialing / Account Executive to join our executive team.
The objective of this position is to provide leadership, strategic direction, and innovative vision as the chief staff executive assigned to one or more of the credentialing programs (or stand-alone credentialing boards) that we manage, thereby ensuring the sustainable growth and advancement of the mission of Metacred and our clients’ credentialing programs and activities.
Metacred’s staff culture is progressive—valuing innovation, collaboration, courage, professionalism, performance, client service, and accountability. As a team, we share a consistently positive attitude, sense of humour, and passion for excellence. We strive towards continual improvement and are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional results. We embrace change and thrive on challenges—viewing them as an invitation to evolve and succeed.
The Account Executive / Director of Credentialing is responsible for, and exercises discretion and independent judgment related to, the management and general business operations of Metacred and its clients’ credentialing programs, including:
Championing assigned credentialing programs, focusing on program quality, legal defensibility, value to stakeholders, globalization, and sustainable growth—ensuring that all activities are compliant with relevant accreditation standards, advance the underlying mission, and tightly align with the strategic plan.
Contributing ideas and working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with all Metacred staff, client volunteer leaders, partner organizations, contractors, and vendors.
Establishing and maintaining constructive working relationships and partnerships with assigned clients by understanding their expectations, anticipating their needs, and fulfilling those needs proactively.
Identifying, acquiring, allocating, and managing resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of service and achievement of assigned credentialing programs’ goals, objectives, and business needs.
Leading, mentoring, inspiring, directing, facilitating, coaching, and supervising credentialing program staff teams, volunteer leaders, and subject-matter experts performing credentialing program functions, including: Program development (job analysis, standards setting, and assessment development) initial certification application eligibility analysis, assessment delivery and scoring, recertification analysis, results reporting, and recognition item fulfillment.
Monitoring and analyzing assigned credentialing programs, providing statistics and progress reports, establishing goals, and proactively managing plans to continually improve the programs.
Creating, periodically reviewing, and updating program policies, materials, and communications.
Representing Metacred and our clients in a consistently professional manner at in-person and virtual meetings and events, and through written and verbal communications.
Serving as staff liaison to committees and boards—recruiting, training, and retaining volunteer leaders, drafting and distributing agendas and supporting materials in a timely manner, leading and facilitating meetings, and recording and distributing minutes.
Contributing to newsletters, websites, discussion boards, and other publications.
Maintaining high-quality relationships with existing vendors and researching new vendors who can provide more efficient, effective, valuable, and creative products and services that advance our mission and our quality of client service.
Developing, securing approval for, monitoring, and meeting or outperforming annual budgets for assigned programs.
Leading the preparation of accreditation and reaccreditation applications, supporting documentation, and related audits.
In addition to our robust package of traditional benefits, Metacred offers a fulfilling, Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE) that respects and empowers our human resources and is driven by our clients' business needs, rather than arbitrary factors outside of the context of business needs. The premise of a ROWE is that work can get done anywhere at any time the team member is most productive. This is intended to optimize personnel autonomy, efficiency, job satisfaction, worker health and safety, performance, and accountability.
The Account Executive / Director of Credentialing reports directly to the Vice President of Client Services. This position supervises credentialing program staff.
