About the Role: You will help drive member satisfaction using your outstanding customer support, administrative, and organizational skills.
This position is primarily in-person, in the office in Buckhead. There is an option for hybrid work after an initial period.
Responsibilities:
Membership and Database • Respond to member inquiries including telephone, email, web, and other. Garner a working understanding of the most frequently asked questions and the tools and resources available to answer them. • Create, maintain and update the database for membership. Run weekly reports, tracking trends and changes. • Create and send member & marketing communications using Mailchimp. • Provides support for volunteer leadership, including the board of directors and association committees. • Send welcome email to new members. • Follow-up with members who do not renew.
General office and Administrative • Keep the office organized and running efficiently. Inventory and order office supplies. • Order awards, signs, printed materials, and plaques as needed. • Update website and calendar. • Maintain relationship with facility-related vendors such as copier, postage machine, parking, etc. • Interview new vendors as needed. • Maintain and organize office files, physical and electronic. • Administrative support of executive director as needed.
Meetings and Events • Pre-event preparation to include monitoring registration lists, printing and preparing name badges, and preparation of any additional meeting supplies. • Maintain event registration and payment platforms. • Duties at the event to include setting up on-site registration materials, greeting members, distributing parking validation and cleaning up our materials. • Represent the association at functions/events (which occur ~1x a month) which could necessitate some hours beyond the normal business day. • Supervise temporary help at meetings. • Track trends in attendance.
Skills and Qualifications: • A positive attitude; team player with the ability to work independently. • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings / late afternoons to support Meetings. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of volunteers. • Expert organizational skills, exemplary planning and time management skills, and a strong attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn the organization’s database system and marketing tool. • A high degree of responsibility, initiative and professionalism. • Three to five years of administrative or association experience. • Some graphic design skills (preferred but not required) • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

You enjoy managing multiple priorities, owning project success, and are optimistic about getting it all done while also being pragmatic about what it will take. You enjoy finding creative solutions. You possess a willingness to take ownership of tasks both big and small.
