A little bit about this position:
This position reports to the VP, Education, Events & Programs, provides support across multiple functional areas, and engages regularly with staff, volunteer leadership (including our Board of Directors), our membership, and vendors.
A day in the life of this position will vary each day. However, you will be part of a team to help make our Association the best in our industry. Specifically, the Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for our events, awards and training programs, Board of Directors' activities, and NALP’s Foundation. This position is also responsible for overall office management and maintenance.
We are a hybrid office, but this position is required to be in the office five days a week. Hours are flexible. An occasional remote workday is possible, with supervisor approval, after three months of employment.
A snapshot of the responsibilities:
Provide support to the CEO related to all Board of Director activities including scheduling, preparation of Board materials, and note taking during Board meetings
Provide support to the leadership of the NALP Foundation including preparation and planning for several large events, as well as providing support for the Foundation’s annual fundraising event.
Support the events team, including providing attendee and exhibitor registration assistance, coordinating and packing shipments for events, and other events-related administrative tasks.
Assist with awards program including tracking applications, assisting in the scoring process, maintaining/updating data in iMIS and providing overall support for the programs.
Work with staff to help maintain certification and training programs, including communication with members, preparing and mailing certification packages, and processing recertification.
Assist with general office and administrative functions.

College graduate preferred, but not mandatory
Association experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory
