Come join the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), the international leader in science, education, and advocacy for cardiac arrhythmia professionals and patients, and the primary information resource on heart rhythm disorders. HRS is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Development to lead the strategy for and oversee the implementation of the association’s development program. Candidates in East Coast, Central, and Mountain time zones will be considered for this opportunity.

As the AVP of Development, you will oversee the development program with a focus on grants, sponsorships, and corporate and individual member donations. You will be responsible for developing the strategy, planning, and organizing of the development programs, as well as integrating strategic development of initiatives across the organization. You will solicit grant support, drive sponsorship solicitation, and oversee and manage the implementation of solicitation strategies for fundraising efforts. The AVP will drive all development activities using a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging lens, building in focused strategies that mirror the organization-wide dedication to DEI. This position reports to the VP of Development & Innovation and manages two direct reports and matrixed staff.
Offered salary: $180,000/annually
Qualified candidates offer:
Bachelor’s degree
10 years of experience working in fundraising and development
Healthcare subject matter expertise
Proven track record in fundraising and business development
