Ability and Willingness to work Evenings and Weekends when required.
Ability and Willingness to travel, minimum 10% travel.

The Mechanical Contractors Association of New Jersey (MCANJ) is a Trade Association which serves and represents the Mechanical and HVAC/ R Service Contractors of New Jersey. The Association promotes Union Mechanical as well as Service Contractors through marketing campaigns and various other efforts, including industry legislation.
MCANJ provides Education, Industry Guidance as well as a Network of valuable Affiliations to the Mechanical and Service Contracting Industry and their ancillary business partner companies.
The MCANJ offers Safety Training, Advanced Skilled Seminars, Official Recognition Programs as well as Networking Events which benefit member companies. Our goal is to help facilitate stability and growth throughout New Jersey's greater Contracting, Construction and Service Industries.

Experience with Labor Relations.
Job Description:
Coordination, Organization and Tracking of classes and educational events Sponsored by the MCANJ Association.
Provide concise and well-written Notices to Association Members as required.
Travel from Springfield, NJ to various meeting halls and venues for meetings and functions.
Facilitate the travel arrangements and accommodations for the Association members when necessary.
Attend various Meetings and have ability to relay detailed meeting notes for the Association Member’s review; this includes Association Committee meetings, Various Union Meetings as well as Regional and National Industry related Conferences.
Assist the Director in the operations of the Association.
*Additional duties and responsibilities will be detailed through an initial interview conversation.
Compensation Range:
$75,000 - $125,000 based on qualifications
