We have an opportunity within the Computer Society for an experienced and forward-thinking leader to grow the corporate partnership program by establishing partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders and business partners. Use these relationships to identify and develop resources that impact long-term operational objectives and support the growth of the Society’s exhibit and sponsorship sales programs.
You’ll also align industry development strategies with overall Society objectives; manage comprehensive market analysis; lead efforts to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* 7 – 10 years of experience in project management, relationship management and business development with high tech multinational companies
* 4 – 7 years of international experience or knowledge of global markets
* Understanding of the computing industry including challenges and emerging trends
* Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and connectors to maximize relationship success
* Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
* Strong business writing skills and business etiquette
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be equally comfortable in one-on-one discussions and group presentations
* Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to be flexible and open-minded
* Exercise good judgement and decision making with minimal guidance
* 4 – 7 years of experience working with volunteers, boards and committees preferred
