In this newly created position, you will play a leading role in the overall planning, coordination and implementation of assigned projects within HR’s project portfolio, using your wealth of project management experience to apply project management methodologies to achieve goals and schedules.
You’ll work closely with HR organizational managers to define the scope of projects and develop a detailed work plan that includes necessary resources and effective schedules. Provide oversight of all aspects of the projects, managing daily logistics and working with project teams to ensure that requirements are being met within the scheduled timeframe. You’ll also provide HR Leadership with recommendations for overcoming obstacles to project goals and perform other tasks related to the completion of projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
* 4 – 7 years of experience that includes 3 – 5 years in project management and 3 – 5 years in human resources
* Expertise working with project management software, databases and spreadsheet analysis
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
* Ability to understand and translate complex user business requirements into clear proposals, documents and project plans
* Strong motivational and communication skills
* Availability for occasional travel, estimated 2 – 5 times per year
* PMI Project Manager Certification and/or management-related professional association experience that includes successful project leadership highly desired
