When you join AMT as an Instructional designer you will be joining a team who analyze, design, develop, and evaluate our continuing education products. It will include creating and maintaining eLearning, instructor-led, and blended courses. You’ll also work with audio & video components and other resources targeted for allied health professionals.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Full Learning Cycle Management. You are responsible for course and curriculum design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, you’ll research, analyze, create documentation, and manage communication with all stakeholders involved in your courses.
Collaborate with SMEs to develop your course content and ensure all project materials are SME approved.
Coordinate and assist in testing of new materials with stakeholders, like IT for example
Own the evaluation strategy for your projects and report on learning feedback and other post-course components to measure course effectiveness and return on investment.
Maintain an interest and knowledge on developments within Learning & Development methodologies, including technology advancements

In Instructional Design, E-Learning, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or another related field
5 years’ experience
Development Principles, Learning Theories, Lesson & Curriculum Planning
Visual Design Skills with the ability to storyboard
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, test questions, and audio & video scripts
Experience with authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and/or iSpring.
Video Editing and Image Manipulation experience
Experience with using a Learning Management System
Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint & Excel
Program & Project Management Experience
Excellent communication (written & verbal), customer service, and attention to detail
Light Travel, approximately 10%-20% per year
Residence in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas
