We are looking for a talented Meeting & Member Services Specialist to join our team. This multifaceted role will direct and oversee membership activities, develop programs and initiatives designed to increase association membership, create and maintain a strong online presence for our clients via social media, work with company webmaster to maintain and update client websites as needed, design and distribute association newsletters, and collaborate with his/her team leaders on client conference/meeting planning.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Membership Dues & Procurement
Recommend and develop new member programs and services designed to recruit and retain members.
Membership Database Management and Dues Collection for team client groups.
Newsletter Liaison/Editor for multiple clients.
Social Media & Website Management
Identify, curate and create engaging social media content that drives growth across AME clients.
Maintain and update the company website with relevant and up to date information.
Be on the pulse of the latest digital waves, while understanding new trends.
Meeting Planning & Onsite Assistance
Coordinate and assist in planning and organizing annual meetings for AME clients.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase attendance at annual meetings.
Assist in managing all aspects of event logistics at client meetings.
Administrative Support
Provide day-to-day support to the executive team members.
Assist in securing event venues and future meeting locations.
Experience and expertise in Excel and other Microsoft programs
Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge and execution of strategic membership plans.
Experience with social media and email marketing platforms with the ability to deliver creative content.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, particularly during peak event periods.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and with all personality types.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Creative mindset with experience in Canva or similar software.
BS degree in Marketing, Media or relevant field. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
