The National Protein & Food Distributors Association (NPFDA) is seeking an experienced, detail-driven manager of events & membership to support the delivery and operational coordination of a dynamic portfolio of events and member services. This includes execution of high-quality in-person experiences plus internal management of a growing membership base, ensuring seamless coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, bring strong operational and project management instincts, and confidently manage multiple timelines and stakeholders simultaneously. You’ll oversee logistics from early planning through execution and post-program reporting, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Programs range from intimate membership gatherings to a multi-day conference serving over one thousand attendees.
The successful candidate is proactive, highly organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This position plays a critical role in delivering programs, services, and experiences that strengthen community, expand organizational impact, and move our mission forward.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating meaningful, high-quality experiences while working with a collaborative, mission-driven team. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in event management, communications, hospitality, or a related field
2-4 years of hands-on experience in event planning or program coordination, ideally in a membership-based organization, nonprofit, or association environment
Demonstrated ability to manage high-touch logistics and timelines
